We have a range of different documentMe films that are specific to certain stages of life - if you are living with a terminal diagnosis the process of documenting your life can be a therapeutic journey, helping you come to terms with past experiences, find closure, or heal emotional wounds. You can leave a long lasting powerful and emotive message for the ones you love.

What does a documentMe film cost ?

Each person's narrative is distinct, and our films reflect this individuality. Our doco style cinematic creations are equally unique.

We provide a variety of options tailored to various stages of life.

documentMe films range from our standard package at 40mins to a feature length doco style at 60mins. This feature length features significant moments filmed not only in an interview setting but also at additional locations following you go about your life & showcasing you engaging in your passions as well as interactions with those you love.

As a standard guideline, extended films 0ver 60mins are available these are quoted on a per film basis. To obtain a price listing, kindly get in touch with us.

Where do we film my DocumentMe ?

We will film in the comfort of your home or a friend or family members home, as filming in the space you live in can give insights into your daily life and interests. We will bring all our lighting and sound equipment to you and set up in your space. We will help "set the scene" and create an emotive ambience that will reflect during your storytelling process.

With our longer films, to ensure they are visually engaging we offer a couple of additional locations local to your home - this could be the beach or a park or a special landmark that may be associated with important historical events that shaped your life.

* Travel: If your life story involves extensive travel or living in different places, consider incorporating footage from those locations to add depth to your narrative - please note this will incur further costs.

Can I buy a documentMe as a gift for someone else ?

What do you need from me to film my DocumentMe ?

When you book your documentMe we will send you an info pack and a quesionaire to help you prep.

But a few pointers to help along the way would be:

Clothing - no stripes, spots, red or busy patterns - keep it simple for the interview style
Personal effects, like things from your childhood, and old journal, diary etc We use this for cutaway footage.
Awards or past recognition items - again we can use this for extra fill in footage
Photos and historical footage you may have always can come in handy.

Im really nervous about being on camera and dont know what to say! ?

Guess what! we take the guess work out - we will send you a questionnaire that you can spend time filling in leading up to your documentMe. On the day of filming we will use this questionnaire to prompt you if need - trust us when we say, once you start telling your stories you will forget the cameras are even there. Most people say they forget the cameras are there once they are settled in.

The cameras are not set up in your face - they are set back from you so that you don't feel too overwhelmed.

What happens if afterward I feel like I overshared?

After you receive your first cut of your documentMe, you can make a round of changes, if you feel as though there are things you want to remove you can do that - this film is YOUR LEGACY so you have to be happy with your film.

Remember, you receive your film and you share it how you want too. We will not share your work without your prior permission - we would never show a full film, just snippets to help other make their decisions in wanting to create their own.

How long does it take to receive my final documentMe?

Our team will carefully edit and produce the DocumentMe film in a manner that leaves you with a timeless, engaging and forever film of your life - this process can take up to 2 weeks.

You will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the final edit.

We will provide you with a digital copy of the DocumentMe for your personal use and sharing with family and friends a hard copy usb version of your DocumentMe.
